Rev. Jenu John, an ordained minister of the Church of South India is the present and first full-time vicar of Holy Trinity CSI Congregation in Dublin, Ireland. Rev. Jenu arrived in Dublin on the 29th of March 2023 to serve as the parish priest of this congregation. He received his deacon ordination in 2018 and was ordained as Presbyter in 2019. He has been serving as the Vicar of St. Andrew\u2019s CSI Church Karikuzhy in Kerala for the past five years.<\/p>

Rev. Jenu did his theological education (B.D.) at the Gurukul Lutheran Theological College and Research Institute, Chennai (Serampore University), and passed out in the year 2018 by receiving the General Proficiency Award. Prior to his theological education, he served as a Missionary at Bethzatha Spirituality and Guidance Centre in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, a project owned by the diocese of Madhya Kerala of the CSI. He has served as a Faculty member of Divya Bodhini, a course initiated by the Women\u2019s Fellowship of the diocese of the Madhya Kerala in the years 2018 and 2019. Rev. Jenu has represented the diocese in the 37th Session of the CSI Synod meetings held at Hubli, Karnataka from 12-16 January 2023 as an elected Synod Member of the Diocese. He was deputed by the diocese to attend many conferences and seminars organized by the Synod of the Church and has presented research papers in consultations organized by the various departments of the CSI Synod. Rev. Jenu hails from a family of presbyters. His father Very Rev. T.J. John is an active presbyter of the Madhya Kerala Diocese and two of his brothers-in-law are also ordained ministers of the diocese. His home parish is St.Paul\u2019s CSI Church Ranny, Kerala.<\/p>

Rev. Jenu John has published a number of articles and write-ups in regional as well as national and international journals and magazines and also in edited books. He has served as Clergy convener and Youth Convener for the Thiruvalla District of the Madhya Kerala Diocese from 2019 to 2022.<\/p>

Rev. Jenu has obtained his secular education B.Sc in Physics from St. Thomas College, Ranny , Kerala, and passed out in the year 2008 with Best Outgoing Award. He holds a Masters\u2019s degree in Physics (M.Sc) from the prestigious Central University Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi. Rev. Jenu has also got exposures to the Goethe Institute in New Delhi with regard to learning the Deutsche language and with British Council in New Delhi.<\/p>

Rev. Jenu is married to Dr. Sherin Jacob M.Sc., Ph.D , who served formerly as Senior Resident and Scientist at the Pushpagiri Medical College and Hospital in Thiruvalla and as Asst Professor, School of BioSciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala.
