Sunday School
Dublin CSI Church Sunday School
Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.” (Deuteronomy 6:6).
Aim:
- Our Sunday school classes started in 2011 when the CSI Congregation was established in Dublin.
- The vision of Sunday school is to lead the children towards Christ, enriching them with His Knowledge, Love, and preparing them as His disciples.
- The mission of the Sunday school is to facilitate each and every child to grow with Christian values through relevant Biblical teaching,
- enriching their scripture knowledge and understanding, developing leadership qualities among them and bring them up as a good citizens of this and the eternal world.
Activities:
- Sunday School Classes are held before the services at the church.
- Sunday School Annual Examinations and Talent Competitions are conducted in November.
- Sunday School Day Service is held in November in which our Children take an active role in the service.
- Sunday School Camp is conducted yearly. It is a time of much learning, excitement, and spiritual awakening for children.
- Children present songs/skits during the Christmas Carols.
The Sunday School classes helps to inculcate Christian values in children and to shape their character as they face a world of differing standards and priorities.
We diligently follow our motto “Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
