Women’s Fellowship

The CSI , Dublin, engages in a meaningful ministry through enhancing the life and mission of the Congregation. Through prayer and activities, it encourages and empowers the women to witness Christ in the family, Church and society. Uniting women in prayer, service, and witness, it enables them to grow spiritually. The members are encouraged to uphold the sanctity of Christian marriage and family life and serve those in need within and without the Church.

The programmes of the Women’s Fellowship can be classified into devotional and diaconal. The devotional includes spiritual retreats, chain-prayer, and Women’s Day Celebration. The diaconal functions at two levels. Within the Church, the Fellowship serves the Congregation by organising Kanji & Payar after the Good Friday Service, hospitality during special functions, and refreshments (on a discount rate) after the divine services. Fundraising events like ‘Charity Lunch and Snack Sale’ are organised to engage in the second level of diaconia, i.e., in the society. The Women’s Fellowship has contributed to several missions and ministries during the past years. They include housing projects, medical help, educational help, women’s empowerment and rehabilitation projects, and mission support.

Since its inception, several members of the Women’s Fellowship have led the organisation from the forefront. The present committee members of the Women’s Fellowship are Dr. Sherin Jacob ( President), Mrs. Leeba Koshy ( Secretary),Mrs. Shiney Baby,Mrs. Roopa Esther Philip,Mrs. Shaiji Saju,Mrs. Alin Arun, Ms. Ida Susan Jerry.. Along with the Women’s Fellowship members, we invite all women above 18 years to join this ministry. As Mary had cherished the ‘better part’ to remain at the foot of the Lord, let us rejoice in being with the Lord, praying, serving and witnessing.
